Human Stories Tv – Made In Hamilton

HumanStories TV: Brand new to the scene is the work of Francis Fiction and Kyle Dowie and their work entitled HumanStoriesTV. Their style of shooting is so true to the humans they shoot, it looks and feels like poetry when you watch. One video in particular they produced that made huge headlines across the #HamOnt Social media circles was about Jed the Dancing Guy. They so beautifully told his story and were authentic to share his story.

Brandon’s Apartment – Made In Hamilton

I met Brandon when I tried doing stand up comedy, and let me tell you, being a comedian is not an easy task to do. Coming up with funny material to try out, dealing with the weight of it all if the joke goes south or people don’t laugh, you have to hand it to the comedians in Hamilton for doing everything they have done over the last year so Kudos to them!

Now Brandon, local Hamilton Comedian, host for comedy events, and now as of August 1st host of his own online late night talk show eloquently titled “Brandon’s Apartment” co hosted by Hamilton comedian Jay Oh with guests appearances from other comedians from the city, bands and musicians. Brandons hope is to expand his reach, by teaming up with another fellow comedian and filmmaker by the name of Craig F Watkins to film the show.

Craig, recently wrapped up a traveling tour of his latest comedy film called “The Store” which stars Zak McDonald & Anthony Mlekuz can be found here

The whole point of “Brandon’s Apartment” is to showcase some of the top Hamilton comedians in a way to reach a broader audience and entice the viewers to check out a local show. They have a regular night at Corktown Pub Every Wednesday at 9pm and hosted by Patrick Coppolino. Some of the main regulars include: Manolis Zontanos, Gavin Stephens, Zak McDonald, and many more!

Brandon also helped Hamilton comedians start their careers by developing open mic’s in various locations through out the city and unifying comedians under one umbrella called the “Sons of Comedy – STEELCITY” and that is terrific to see happen in our city!

Brandon is also looking to do an expansive search for any Hamilton Musician that wants to appear on his online series, it would be a great bridge for comedians and musicians for cross promotion.
